Affirmation Selfies

Affirmation Selfies is a series of seven luminous, shrine-like lightbox works drawing on the visual language of self-help culture, devotional imagery, and aspirational branding. Each image presents a fictional affirmation framed through gratitude and success. Through repetition and aesthetic appeal, the works trace how advantage and inheritance can appear morally secure, and how structural privilege may be experienced as personal merit.
