Finglish Karaoke

Finglish Karaoke was a participatory performance I did along with Stefanie Alisch and Aida Khorsandi. It took place on the 1st of December 2008 in Berlin and as part of The International Roaming Biennial of Tehran. The project tried to engage the non-Persian-speaking audience to sing along with a number of Iranian pop songs from the pre-1979-revolutionary era of Iran which were transcribed in Latin alphabets and were being projected on the wall along with the music.
